This week we are visiting The Very Impressive Niagara Falls.  After our fantastic stay in Maine, it was time to move on.  I have never been here and Dave was a kid when he visited.

It took us a couple of days of driving and some stops at Harvest Hosts before arriving here.  We arrived on a very rainy morning.  It had clearly rained at our campground all morning.  There was standing water and a nice flowing river behind our campsite.  Luckily it never got over the bank.  Since it was raining so bad Dave spent the afternoon working and I worked on some sourdough recipes and our plan for seeing the falls.  We originally were going to have two days to do it including the day we arrived since we got there so early.  However, due to the rain, we only ended up with one day.  No problem, we can’t get into Canada because of COVID so that makes it a little easier.

Once the rain had subsided Dave and I decided to check out a fun place for dinner.  Most of the places were pretty packed and required reservations.  Since we kind of fly by the seat of our pants, it took a couple of stops before we found one.  We ended up at a local brewery that served burgers.  The food was good and so was the beer and cider.

The next morning we took the pups on a nice long walk and headed in to see the Falls.  We were able to snag a cheap parking spot and began the walk to the Falls.  We saw the American Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Falls, and the American Rapids.  We also did the Cave of the Winds tour which you can see in the video below.  So go ahead and click on the video below and if you like it please don’t forget to click the like button and subscribe to our youtube channel.
